uveal
Of the iris
Uveal means relating to the uvea, the middle layer of the eye containing the iris, ciliary body, and choroid.
The term appears almost exclusively in medical contexts: uveal melanoma, uveal tract inflammation.
Most eye cancers originating in pigmented tissue are uveal.
