ciliary
Pertaining to lashes
Ciliary means relating to cilia—the tiny hairlike structures that project from cells.
Cilia beat rhythmically to move fluid or particles, as in the respiratory tract where they clear mucus.
In anatomy, ciliary often refers specifically to the ciliary body or ciliary muscle of the eye, which controls the lens shape for focusing: ciliary muscle dysfunction affects near vision.
