Transfem is short for transfeminine, describing someone assigned male at birth who identifies with femininity—whether as a trans woman, nonbinary person, or other gender identity on the feminine spectrum.
The term is common in online transgender communities: transfem fashion tips, as a transfem, I relate to this.
Often contrasted with transmasc.
