cis male
Birth-assigned male identity
A cis male is a man whose gender identity matches the male sex assigned at birth—as opposed to a trans male, who was assigned female at birth but identifies as male.
The prefix cis- comes from Latin meaning "on the same side as," contrasting with trans- meaning "across." As a cis male, I can't speak to the transgender experience.
