stretchered
Transported while supine
Stretchered means transported on a stretcher—the portable frame used to carry injured or ill people.
The word appears almost exclusively in passive constructions describing someone removed from a scene after injury: He was stretchered off the field after the collision.
Common in sports journalism and emergency reporting.
