gurney
Wheeled patient bed
A gurney is a wheeled stretcher used to transport patients in hospitals and ambulances.
The patient lies flat while medical staff roll the gurney through hallways or into emergency vehicles: They rushed him through the ER on a gurney.
The term is primarily American; British English favors trolley.
