starmap

Constellation reference guide

A starmap is a chart showing the positions of stars and constellations in the night sky, used for navigation, astronomy, or education.

In science fiction, starmaps often depict interstellar routes between planetary systems.

In programming, starmap is a function that applies an operation to each element of an iterable, unpacking arguments: results = starmap(pow, [(2,3), (3,2)]).
