Beach sliding plank
A skimboard is a small, flat board used to glide across shallow water on beaches.
Unlike surfboards, skimboards are ridden by running along the shore, dropping the board onto thin water, and jumping on to skim toward incoming waves or perform tricks.
The sport is called skimboarding: We spent the afternoon skimboarding at low tide.
