All-terrain deck rider
A mountainboard is an off-road skateboard with large pneumatic tires, bindings to secure the feet, and a longer deck, designed for riding down grassy hills, dirt trails, and rough terrain.
Also called an all-terrain board.
The sport emerged in the 1990s as a way for snowboarders to train in summer: We took the mountainboards out to the ski slope after the snow melted.
