side planks
Lateral core exercise
Side planks are a core-strengthening exercise performed by supporting the body on one forearm and the side of one foot, with the torso lifted off the ground and held rigid.
The position engages oblique muscles and improves stability: I added side planks to my routine to work on my core.
Variations include raising the top leg or arm.
