Gypsum wall board
Sheetrock is a brand name for drywall—the gypsum-core panels used to construct interior walls and ceilings.
The trademark has become so generic that sheetrock (lowercase) often refers to any drywall regardless of manufacturer: We need to hang sheetrock in the basement.
Also spelled as two words.
