pseudoscorpions
Miniature clawbearing arachnids
Pseudoscorpions are tiny arachnids that resemble scorpions but lack the tail and stinger.
They have the same distinctive pincers as true scorpions, used to catch mites and other minute prey.
Found worldwide in leaf litter, under bark, and in houses, they rarely exceed a few millimeters and are harmless to humans.
