cave dwellers
Underground shelter residents
Cave dwellers are people who live in caves, either as prehistoric humans did or as some communities still do in certain regions.
The term extends to anyone perceived as primitive, unsophisticated, or out of touch with modern life: Those cave dwellers in the IT department still use fax machines.
