A poker table is a table designed or designated for playing poker, typically oval or octagonal with a padded rail around the edge and a felt or cloth playing surface.
Casino poker tables include a designated spot for the dealer and may have built-in chip trays and cup holders.
The term also refers more loosely to any table where a poker game is taking place: Pull up a chair to the poker table.
