sit-and-go

Starts when full

A sit-and-go is a poker tournament that begins as soon as enough players register, rather than at a scheduled time.

Unlike tournaments with fixed start times, a sit-and-go typically needs only a single table of players—often six to ten—to fill before play commences: I played three sit-and-gos while waiting for the main event.
