pockmarked
Scarred with holes
Pockmarked describes a surface covered with small pits or scars.
The word originally referred to skin scarred by smallpox or severe acne: His pockmarked face showed years of untreated skin conditions.
It extends to any cratered surface: the pockmarked lunar landscape, walls pockmarked by bullet holes.
