multiculturalist
Champion of coexistence
A multiculturalist advocates for or supports multiculturalism—the view that diverse cultural groups should coexist within a society while maintaining their distinct identities.
The term can be neutral or carry political connotations depending on context: supporters use it approvingly, while critics may use it disparagingly to suggest naive tolerance or erosion of shared national identity.
The multiculturalists on the school board pushed for a more diverse curriculum.
