arthroscopy
Keyhole joint surgery
Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure in which a small camera is inserted through an incision into a joint, allowing doctors to examine and repair damage without fully opening the area.
The technique is commonly used on knees and shoulders: The MRI was inconclusive, so they scheduled an arthroscopy.
Recovery time is typically shorter than with traditional surgery.
