rehab
Where addicts recover
Rehab is short for rehabilitation—the process of restoring someone or something to good condition.
Most often it refers to treatment programs for addiction: She checked into rehab for alcohol.
It also applies to physical therapy after injury or surgery, and to renovating buildings: We bought a fixer-upper and rehabbed it ourselves.
