manse

Clergy's grand home

A manse is a house provided for a member of the clergy, especially in Presbyterian and some other Protestant traditions.

The word has a slightly formal or old-fashioned ring: The minister and his family lived in the manse beside the church.

In casual use, manse sometimes appears humorously for any large or stately home.
