lob wedge
High-arc short iron
A lob wedge is a golf club with a high loft angle—typically 58 to 64 degrees—used for short, high-arcing shots that land softly with minimal roll.
Golfers reach for it when they need to clear an obstacle and stop the ball quickly on the green: I used my lob wedge to get over the bunker.
