larps
Acts out quests
Larps is the plural of larp, a live-action role-playing game where participants physically act out their characters rather than describing actions at a table.
Larps range from small improvised gatherings to elaborate weekend events with costumes, props, and detailed rules: The local gaming store hosts several larps each month.
As a verb, to larp means to participate in such games, sometimes used dismissively for any performative pretense: He's just larping as a tough guy.
