flypast
Aerial tribute flight
A flypast is a ceremonial flight of aircraft over a specific location, typically to mark a special occasion or honor someone: The coronation concluded with a flypast of military jets.
The term is chiefly British; Americans usually say flyover.
Flypasts often feature at air shows, national holidays, and state funerals.
