roe deer
Small Eurasian ungulate
A roe deer is a small deer native to Europe and Asia, reddish-brown in summer and grayish in winter.
Unlike larger deer species, roe deer are typically solitary or found in small family groups.
The males grow short antlers with usually three points.
We spotted a roe deer at the edge of the forest.
