Arranges cut stems
A florist is a person who sells flowers and arranges them into bouquets, corsages, and decorative displays.
Florists work from shops that also sell houseplants, vases, and related gifts: I ordered a dozen roses from the florist.
The term can refer to either the person or the business itself.
