pistil

Stigma, style, ovary

A pistil is the female reproductive organ of a flower, typically located at the center.

It consists of three parts: the stigma (which receives pollen), the style (a slender stalk), and the ovary (which contains the ovules that develop into seeds after fertilization).

A single flower may have one pistil or several.
