drumlines
Battery in motion
Drumlines are the percussion sections of marching bands, typically arranged in a line formation during performances.
They include snare drums, bass drums, tenor drums, and cymbals, providing rhythmic foundation for the ensemble: The drumlines competed at the state championship.
Separately, a drumline is a fishing apparatus—a long line with baited hooks suspended from floats, used commercially or for shark control near beaches.
