cradleboard
Baby-carrying frame
A cradleboard is a flat board or frame used by some Indigenous peoples of North America to carry an infant.
The baby is secured to the board with bindings or wrappings, allowing the parent to carry the child on the back or prop it upright nearby while working.
The museum displayed a beaded Lakota cradleboard.
