color printing

Non-monochrome document output

Color printing is the reproduction of images using multiple ink colors, typically cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK).

The term distinguishes from black-and-white or monochrome printing: The brochure looks better in color printing but costs more.

Home and office printers offer color printing, though commercial color printing produces higher quality for magazines, packaging, and marketing materials.
