fade-resistant

Won't lose color

Fade-resistant describes materials, colors, or finishes that withstand prolonged exposure to light, washing, or wear without losing their original hue or vibrancy.

The term appears most often with fabrics, paints, and inks: fade-resistant curtains for sunny rooms, fade-resistant outdoor furniture.

Something fade-resistant isn't necessarily fadeproof—it resists fading longer than ordinary materials but may eventually lose color.
