concert poster
Gig announcement print
A concert poster is a printed advertisement for a live musical performance, typically displayed in public spaces or venues.
These range from simple photocopied flyers stapled to telephone poles to elaborate screen-printed art pieces that become collectible: I framed my vintage Grateful Dead concert poster.
The genre has a rich visual tradition, particularly in psychedelic rock posters of the 1960s.
