fuser
Heat-sealing printer part
A fuser is a component in laser printers and photocopiers that bonds toner to paper using heat and pressure.
The heated rollers melt the toner particles, fusing them permanently to the page: The fuser needs replacing—prints are coming out smudged.
More generally, fuser can describe any device or person that fuses things together.
