claims
Demands what's owed
Claims are assertions of truth or right.
To make a claim is to state something as fact, often without yet proving it: Her claims about the product were misleading.
Claims also assert entitlement: an insurance claim, a mining claim, a claim to the throne.
To claim something is to assert ownership or to retrieve it: I claimed my luggage at baggage claim.
Something that claims your attention demands it.
