circuses
Big top entertainments
Circuses is the plural of circus—traveling entertainment shows featuring acrobats, clowns, and trained animals, or the venues where such performances occur.
The term extends to any chaotic spectacle: The press conference turned into a circus.
A traffic circle may also be called a circus, especially in British place names like Piccadilly Circus.
