monologues

One-person spoken performances

Monologues is the plural of monologue—a long speech by one person.

In theater, a monologue is an extended passage spoken by a single character, often revealing inner thoughts: She nailed the audition monologue.

More loosely, any one-sided conversation where someone talks at length without interruption: His monologues about work were exhausting.
