bushbabies

African tree leapers

Bushbabies is the plural of bushbaby, a small nocturnal primate native to Africa.

These animals have enormous eyes, large ears, and powerful hind legs for leaping between branches.

The name comes from their distinctive cries, which sound like a human infant.

Also called galagos.
