aqua-lung
Underwater breathing tank
Aqua-lung is a trademark for an underwater breathing apparatus—a tank of compressed air worn on the back and connected to a mouthpiece, allowing divers to breathe underwater.
The term is sometimes used generically for any self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba): We strapped on our aqua-lungs and descended to the reef.
