HMS Beagle
HMS Beagle was a British Royal Navy ship, famous as the vessel that carried Charles Darwin on his five-year voyage (1831–1836) surveying South American coastlines.
Darwin's observations during this journey formed the foundation for his theory of evolution by natural selection.
The ship's name has become synonymous with scientific exploration and discovery.
