Bullet-carrying strip
An ammo belt is a flexible strip or band holding cartridges in sequence, designed to feed ammunition into a machine gun or other automatic weapon.
The belt allows continuous firing without manual reloading of individual rounds.
Soldiers also wear belts with loops or pouches for carrying ammunition: He slung the ammo belt across his chest.
