stripper clip
Bullet loading strip
A stripper clip is a metal strip holding cartridges by their bases, used to load ammunition quickly into a firearm's magazine.
The shooter presses down and strips the rounds off the clip into the magazine in one motion: He reloaded using a stripper clip.
Distinguished from a detachable magazine, which is sometimes incorrectly called a clip.
