An aloha shirt is a loose, short-sleeved, button-front shirt with colorful, typically tropical patterns—palm trees, flowers, beaches, or abstract designs.
Originally from Hawaii, it's worn untucked as casual warm-weather attire: He showed up to the barbecue in an aloha shirt and flip-flops.
