luau feast
Tropical island party
A luau feast is a traditional Hawaiian celebration featuring roasted pig, poi, tropical fruits, and other island foods, typically accompanied by music, dance, and flower leis.
The phrase is somewhat redundant since a luau is itself a feast—the elaboration emphasizes the abundance of food: They threw a luau feast for the whole neighborhood.
