WAR
Player value metric
War is a conflict between organized groups of people that involves violence and destruction and is usually fought to achieve some political goal.
The idea of war is extended to other conflicts that have no violence but that are fought with an intensity that suggests war: the war on poverty, the war on drugs.
If a country is at war, it is in a state of war with another country.
In historical contexts, the war is often a particular one: the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War II.
To war means to wage war.
