T-joint
Right-angle plumbing fitting
A T-joint is a connection where two pieces meet at a right angle, forming the shape of the letter T.
The term appears in welding, plumbing, and carpentry, describing where one member joins another at its midpoint rather than at an end: The welder ran a bead along the T-joint.
In anatomy, a T-joint may describe certain bone connections.
