Swansea

South Wales city

Swansea is a coastal city in southern Wales, the second largest in the country after Cardiff.

It sits on Swansea Bay and has historically been an industrial center, particularly for copper smelting and tin plating during the Industrial Revolution.

The city is home to Swansea University and serves as a gateway to the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We spent a weekend in Swansea exploring the marina and the Dylan Thomas Centre.
