South Asian
From the subcontinent
South Asian describes people, cultures, and things from the Indian subcontinent—India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
In Western countries, it often serves as an ethnic category: South Asian communities in Britain, South Asian cuisine.
