Outlaws

Bandit-themed franchise

Outlaws are people who operate outside the law—historically, those declared beyond legal protection and subject to capture or killing by anyone.

The term now covers criminals generally, especially romanticized ones like bandits and fugitives: outlaws of the Old West.

To outlaw something is to prohibit it: The treaty outlawed chemical weapons.

An outlaw can also modify nouns to suggest illegality or rebelliousness: outlaw biker gangs.
