Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes—animals, flowers, geometric forms—without cutting or gluing.
The craft requires only a square sheet of paper and precise folding technique.
By extension, origami describes anything intricately folded: The napkins were folded into elaborate origami swans.
