origami crane
Paper peace symbol
An origami crane is a paper sculpture of a bird made by folding a single square sheet without cutting.
The crane is perhaps the most iconic origami figure, associated with Japanese tradition and, through the story of Sadako Sasaki, with wishes for peace and healing.
Folding a thousand cranes is said to grant a wish.
