Legolas
Legolas is an elf character in J.R.R.
Tolkien's *The Lord of the Rings*, known for his archery skills and keen eyesight.
A prince of the Woodland Realm, he joins the Fellowship of the Ring and forms an unlikely friendship with the dwarf Gimli.
The name has become shorthand for any preternaturally skilled archer: He went full Legolas on the archery range.
